Final Rule regarding Revisions to the Office of Inspector General's Civil Monetary Penalties Rule

This final rule amends the civil monetary penalty rules of the Office of the Inspector General to incorporate new CMP authorities, clarify existing authorities, and reorganize regulations on civil money penalties, assessments and exclusions to improve readability and clarity.
